OMG! [Aug. 20th, 2007|09:38 am]
hoosierhistoric

I'm pregnant!!!!!!!

I was spotting last week but I never started. I just figured I was stressed out over bills. Just for kicks, I took a test this morning and it was positive. I took another one (a different brand, even) an hour later to make sure, and it still read positive. I've called my family and scheduled an appointment with my gynecologist.

webpage [Jul. 6th, 2007|11:39 am]

I got an email recently. The guy who's done my webhosting for the last several years is getting out of the business. I have until the end of the month to find a new host. Ptththp. He recommends GoDaddy (and the guy who runs the basic web design class at the community center recommends it too), so I guess I will probably use them. I am updating as much as I can myself, but I am a novice and am using FrontPage. There are tons of things I have no clue how to do. I will have to hire a professional to do the rest, I guess. I want it to be secure and be able to use credit cards or other methods in addition to Paypal.

I still want pictures of us and our merchandise for the page, but I don't have the money (which sucks, because I have a friend who is an awesome photographer.)Well, the important thing now is to update it and find a new home for it. I can make it pretty later.

update on the Bloomington Renaissance Faire [Apr. 12th, 2007|09:55 am]
hoosierhistoric
[mood |pissed offpissed off]

I still hadn't heard any confirmation after sending in my check for the renaissance faire on the Bloomington IU campus. Emails to them bounced, and an email to the student activities office was unanswered. I finally found a contact number through WTIU's online calendar. I called this evening and found out that they did not have space for us. Good thing I took it upon myself to get hold of them, rather than just driving all the way down there on Saturday and finding out that way. The guy said that he had emailed me, but misread the email address on my application, so it came back. I am pretty sure my phone number was on the application, and I KNOW it is printed on my check! But no one had called me. Not very conducive to me applying next year, for sure.

Well, it really is just as well. I hear the weather is supposed to suck this weekend.

Howdy,

I keep forgetting I have an account here. I mostly post on my yahoo 360 account (ectorslady), but just thought I would stop in and say hey.

I'm looking at a show in Illinois this February called reenactorfest; it looks promising.

Right now I am putting a crapload of stuff on Ebay--mostly books and gaming stuff, but I just cracked open some boxes of pretty eclectic things, so there will be more different items up soon. My ebay ID is historygal2, in case you were wondering.

Seems like there was something else I wanted to tell you, but of course now I can't remember what it was. Oh well, I guess if it comes back, I'll make another post. TTFN!
